The planning of routes for sailing vessels is subject to uncertainty from the weather. This is particularly important in yacht racing where the accuracy of a weather prediction can determine the outcome of a race. Below you can find the weather forecasts we use for planning our races.

The Racing Rules of Sailing

The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) govern the sport of sailing on the water. They are revised and published every four years by World Sailing The current edition is The Racing Rules of Sailing 2017 - 2020.

As a result of actions taken by the World Sailing Racing Rules Committee and the World Sailing Council during the Annual Conference, changes may be made to the RRS during the four-year period. These changes are published as Changes and Corrections to the RRS.

To support the 2017 - 2020 Rule Book, a Study Version has been published which explains the changes and new rules. Use the menu above to download the Study Version.
